Using Card Clones with Magic Tricks

Most of the time if I do this I will do it when we play Texas Hold 'em because usually the chip case comes with two decks of card, so it is perfect time to do it and you need an envelope as well. You just set one deck aside, you tell them you are going to place a card in the envelope and this card is a prediction card you think that they will actually pick from the deck and get through, you definitely want to pick those, this looks good, this is probably it, tell them you are just going to place it inside the envelope, set it aside and then you can get rid of this deck and what you want to do is shuffle the deck and then tell them to cut it anywhere they want, and they cut it and what you are wanting to do is go ahead and mark the position that they cut the card with the envelope and you tell them that you removed a random card, they selected, they cut any point in the deck and now for the first time, you just have them lift it up and actually look at the card that they cut to and in this case it is nine of hearts okay and just complete the cut. You tell them since they have the envelope already in their possession, you just tell them to go ahead and reach inside the envelope and see if your prediction matches theirs and of course it will.

The explanation for this and the things you will need, you will need the two deck of cards and an envelope, everything is unprepared and you just have to get the props. What you are going to want to do is you are going to want to go through and find the nine of hearts, it could be any card, we are going to use the nine of hearts, any card you want to predict really and you do this, so they cannot see it, you remove the nine of hearts make sure, no one has seen you, place the card in the envelope okay and you set it aside so that no one can look at it and on this the only setup, you will need is the card that you put in the envelope, you are going to want that card on top of the deck and the other deck, so that is all you need to do. So you can do a shuffle, and when you shuffle make sure that that card stays on top and then you place it down on the table, you tell them to cut it anywhere, they cut and tell them that you are going to mark their cut by placing the envelope on top and putting the other there and then you recap what has happened, you remove the random card from the pack, place it in the envelope and shuffle the pack of cards, have them cut it to any card that they want and you just tell them to lift up the envelope and look at the card they cut to and if they cut to the nine of hearts and of course it is going to match. Tell them to open the envelope and it will match the card you put in there and the way that works is just they forget that this is actually the top portion of the deck, they think this is the actual portion that they cut to, it is a time delayed misdirection force and it works great.
