The Bottle - Lighter Bar Trick
This next clip is called the lighter and bottle trick. So some things take a little more skill than the other tricks that I've been showing you that are more about mind games. This, we're actually going to set up and show something that everyone is going to be scared to try, but really excited to see the final result. You just need a bottle, empty bottle, so save that one because I know you're finishing some over there, and a lighter. And we're just going to set it up on the bar. And it looks very, very tricky, but once you try it, you will see that it's something that you just need speed and concentration. And you can show a lot of people some good times and they will be betting you that you can't do it because it seems like it's so challenging. This trick needs coordination on your part to set up the trick. And what you're going to do is bet someone that you can place the lighter underneath the bottle on the bar and that you can remove the lighter without making the bottle fall. It seems like it's going to be pretty tricky and pretty impossible, but just hold tight and I'm going to show you exactly how to do it so you can impress your friends and maybe make some new ones.

The Bottle - Lighter Bar Trick Solution
In this clip I am going to show you the execution of the bottle and lighter trick. So here I am at the bar. I have my bottle and I have my lighter. I'm just going to set this up for you so you can see exactly what I mean. Place the lighter on the bar. Flip the bottle upside down and balance it so it stays just like that. You're going to try to challenge people at the bar by saying "I can remove this lighter without touching the bottle or making the bottle break." That is going to be kind of hard to believe for some people and if they want to try it on their own, more likely than not, they are going to try to be very slow about removing it. But when you do that, if you want to move it really slow, there goes the bottle. It doesn't work that way. So, I'm going to give my friend Rich here a try, setting it up. Rich: You know, just seeing that, I don't even believe it. So you're going to this lighter out without touching the bottle and the bottle is going to stand on the bar? Kristina: Correct Rich: Let's do it. Kristina: Give it a try. Rich: I betcha. So here's how you do the trick. You have it set up this way. You're going to take your fingers and start from the tip of the lighter and measure out so your fingers are pointed in. Make sure they are pointed in because they need to hit the lighter. You can't swing past the lighter. Have your thumbs down here. And the trick is to go very quickly. Don't go slow. Like I showed your earlier, if you go slow, you're sure to meet with failure. So here we go. And that's how it's done.
