The Mind Reader Bar Trick
This next clip is called the mind reading trick. This next trick is so easy, its one of my favorites, because people still have no idea how I can read their mind. And it?s a very simple trick once you figure out that you just have to have someone in your audience who's on your side. All you need for this are nine coins. And it?s set up in a little grid. Three, three and three. And what you are going to do is tell them that you can read their mind, by having them choose a coin, and you just have to tell them which one it is. When you're not looking they are going to choose a coin. Its good to do on a busy night, because then you have someone over there that's making sure the person picking the coin isn't changing their choice at the last second. Just to prove you wrong. Also you need a napkin and a glass. And one of your good friends drinking that drink. Because they're going to show you which coin the other person picked. The Mind Reader Bar Trick Solution
In this clip, we're going to show you the conclusion of mind reading. So, I have the grid of coins, here, set up just like I explained to you, and I'm going to have a couple people on the other side of the bar, pick one coin and I'm going to turn my back, I'm going to go to the restroom, I'm going to walk away, close my ears. Whatever they want me to do to make sure that I do not know which coin they are picking. So, let's say the people at the bar pick this coin at the top corner. My friend Rich, here, is going to be on my side by using his napkin to indicate which coin the other person has picked. So, for instance, they picked this coin at the top corner, so Rich is going to place his drink at top corner of his napkin. Now, the person that you have playing along has to be very, very discrete and just be sitting there like he doesn't have a care in the world, that he's not even listening, not even worried about this trick. Rich and I have gotten so good at it that sometimes he can just tap it and turn away and then, no one even knows that he's playing along. So, as you can see this is a really easy way to win some money. You just need a good friend on the other side of the bar and some gullible, slightly intoxicated people to play along.
